The loss at Anfield, thanks to a brace from former West Ham striker Gianluca Scamacca and a strike from Mario Pasalic, was a significant blow to Liverpool's European aspirations, leaving them with a mountain to climb in the return leg in Italy. While the Merseysiders are not yet out of contention, Carragher believes that Klopp should focus on domestic success rather than pursuing glory in Europe.
